Our eye doctors, opticians and staff bring years of expertise to serving patients, whether you visit us for an exam, a contact lens fitting or to find that perfect pair of glasses. Dr-Robert-Hoglund — Dr. Robert Hoglund, O.D.

Dr. Ray DeMaio, M.D.

Dr. DeMaio is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. He completed his Ophthalmology training in 1996 at the M.S Hershey Medical Center. He received his Batchelor’s degree (BS) in Biochemistry from Albright College in 1988 and received his Medical Degree (MD) from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia in 1992. Ray specializes in General Ophthalmology with a primary focus of Cataract Surgery, and he also performs diabetic, glaucoma, and general eye care. He and his wife Sarah reside in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Jim Mulligan, O.T.

Jim Mulligan is a founding member of Bouquet Mulligan DeMaio Eye Professionals and specializes in optics and manufacturing eyewear.

He attended Penn State University and received a certificate in Ophthalmic Dispensing from Reading Area Community College. He is certified by the American Board of Certified Opticians. Jim is a member of the Pennsylvania Opticians Association and has served as the state director and Medicare chairman. He is a member of the advisory group of the Optical Resources Buying Group, based in Louisville, KY.

Dr. Robert Hoglund, O.D.

Dr. Hoglund grew up in Lebanon County, PA and is a 1997 graduate of ELCO High School. After high school, he studied Biology at Millersville University. He was a pole vaulter on the Track and Field team while at Millersville. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. Dr. Hoglund received his Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2005. Two weeks after graduation, Dr. Hoglund started working for Bouquet Mulligan DeMaio Eye Professionals and has been here ever since.

Dr. Hoglund married his high school sweetheart in 2002. They live in Myerstown with their four children and two dogs. Most of his free time is spent driving his children around to various activities, but he enjoys fishing, cooking, and riding his ATV if time allows. He is a member of Lifeway Church in Lebanon, PA. He enjoys listening to praise and worship music.

While Dr. Hoglund practices primary care optometry, but has a special interest in complex contact lens problems.

Dr. Beth Walmer, O.D.

Dr. Walmer is a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA and received her doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Walmer completed a residency in the medical treatment of eyes. She specializes in pediatrics, post concussion, medical eye conditions, and has been practicing for over 25 years. Campbelltown is where she resides with her family. They enjoy camping, biking, hiking and golfing.

Dr. Beth Berlin, O.D.

Dr. Berlin grew up in the Bloomsburg area and graduated from Central Columbia High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wilkes University, majoring in biology. After graduation, she relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and earned a bachelor’s degree in vision science and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University (NSU). While at NSU, Dr. Berlin completed an externship at the Miami VA with grand rounds at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Institute. In addition to working at Bouquet Mulligan DeMaio Eye Professionals, she also participates in the Reserve Health Readiness Program, which is an on-location program to deliver eyecare to military reservists preparing to deploy. Prior to moving to Lebanon, she was the medical director of a four-office practice. Dr. Berlin resides in Lebanon County and has two sons who are currently in college.

Dr. David Williams, M.D.

Dr. Williams graduated from Haverford College and earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He successfully completed his internship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Florida. Dr. Williams has a special interest in cataract surgery and multifocal and astigmatism-correcting lenses.

His clinical training is grounded in comprehensive ophthalmology with an understanding of broad diagnostic capabilities. He also understands the limits of his own training and does not hesitate to refer a patient to someone with greater expertise when necessary. His practice is focused on cataract surgery and management of both routine and more challenging cataract cases.
